Market Access Certificates
Most international markets require seed to be accompanied by seed analysis certificates which verify adherence to their specific requirements. AsureQuality's status as an accredited member of the International Seed Testing Association (ISTA) enables it to issue ISTA orange international analysis seed lot certificates, which are widely accepted by governments and buyers throughout the world.
Final Verification of the Status of Certified Seed
Seed analysis and the issue of a certified seed certificate are the final steps in the varietal certification of seed under the New Zealand seed certification scheme.
Purity standards are applied to the results of purity tests and for certain cultivars specialised varietal, or seed weight tests are applied to ensure that the standards are met. Also, any seeds containing wild oat (Avena fatua), nodding thistle (Carduus nutans) and Yellow gromwell (Amsinkia calycina) are automatically rejected from certification.
AsureQuality also issues OECD international varietal certificates which verify that OECD seed certification requirements for individual seed lots have been met.
